Wikipedia - JDFS Alberts

Jura Docenko Futbola Skola Alberts, commonly referred to as JDFS Alberts, is a Latvian football club based in Riga, that plays in Latvian First League (1. līga), the second-highest division of Latvian football. The club was founded as a football school in 2008 on the basis of FK Alberts youth system. It was named after a football coach Juris Docenko who died in January 2008. Before the 2015 season the club received a license to participate in the First League.

JDFS Alberts er et fodboldhold fra Letland, der er baseret i byen Jēkabpils. Klubben blev grundlagt i 1996 og spiller i øjeblikket i den lettiske 1. liga.

JDFS Alberts har vundet Letlands Cup en gang, i 2004. Klubben har også deltaget i UEFA Cuppen flere gange, men er aldrig kommet længere end første runde.

JDFS Alberts har et stærkt ungdomsakademi, og klubben har fostret flere lettiske landsholdsspillere, herunder Valērijs Šabala og Ēriks Pelcis.

Klubbens hjemmebane er Jēkabpils Centrālais stadions, der har en kapacitet på 2.500 tilskuere.
