Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club (APR FC or APR) is a professional football club from Kigali in Rwanda. The club plays their home games at Amahoro Stadium. The club was founded in June 1993 as the team of the Rwandese Patriotic Front.

History

Despite their short history, they become one of the most successful club in the Rwandan football league winning twenty-two Rwandan league titles and thirteen Rwandan Cups. APR FC also won the CECAFA Clubs Cup in 2004, 2007, and 2010 after ending up as losing finalists in that competition in 1996 and 2000.

In 2022, the club reached the Second Round of the CAF Champions League for the first time in club history.

APR FC (Armée Patriotique Rwandaise Football Club) er en fodboldklub fra Kigali, Rwanda. Klubben blev grundlagt i 1993 af den rwandiske hær og er en af de mest succesrige klubber i Rwanda.

APR FC har vundet det rwandiske mesterskab 18 gange, herunder 11 gange i træk fra 2006 til 2016. Klubben har også vundet Rwandas pokalturnering 11 gange.

På internationalt plan har APR FC repræsenteret Rwanda i CAF Champions League ved flere lejligheder. Klubbens bedste præstation kom i 2004, hvor de nåede semifinalen.

APR FCs hjemmebane er Stade Régional de Nyamirambo i Kigali. Klubbens trøje er rød og hvid, og dens emblem er et skjold med Rwandas flag og en løve.
