Honduras Super Cup

The Honduran Supercup is a Honduran football competition held yearly as a preseason match between the reigning champions of the Liga Nacional and the Honduran Cup. The competition started unofficially in 1997, but it was discontinued after just two seasons. In 2015, it was intended to be reactivated, however the match between F.C. Motagua and Club Deportivo Olimpia was scheduled but not played. One year later, a new Supercup edition was finally reestablished after 17 years of dormancy. The Honduran football authorities however, did not consider the competition official until 2017.

Honduras Super Cup er en årlig fodboldturnering for honduranske klubhold organiseret af Federación Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras (FENAFUTH). Turneringen blev etableret i 2017 og er i øjeblikket sponsoreret af Tigo.

Turneringen spilles mellem vinderen af Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras og vinderen af Copa Presidente de Honduras. Hvis den samme klub vinder begge turneringer, spiller den mod nummer to i Liga Nacional.

Honduras Super Cup spilles over en enkelt kamp, der afholdes på et neutralt sted. Vinderen af kampen tildeles Super Cuppen.

Den nuværende indehaver af Honduras Super Cup er Fútbol Club Motagua, der vandt turneringen i 2022.
